They handed me a receipt to give to my insurance company for $800 and asked for a copay. When I told them I was paying cash, they took that one back and handed me a bill for $275. I don't need any more proof that the system is broken. It is already widely known that if you go into an emergency room without insurance, the amount they will bill ... |
